Every volunteer must be a Christian over the age of 18 and an active member of a local church.

The prospective volunteer must be free of probations and incarcerations for at least three years.

All volunteers must adhere to the SCM Statement of Faith and be born again as described in John 3:1-8.

Each prospective volunteer will fill out an application, which includes references.

The prospective volunteer will be interviewed by SCM and on approval, will have to submit to a background check and meet all requirements of the facility at which they will be ministering.

All volunteers shall have and maintain a Christian lifestyle of integrity, balance, maturity and emotional stability.
